The Chuan Wu Laboratory in the Department of Immunology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Lead Scientist to drive innovative research investigating the mechanisms that maintain intestinal homeostasis and host defense, with a focus on immune-neuron communication in the gut, host-microbiota interactions, and regulation of the intestinal epithelial barrier during health and inflammation. Working closely with the Principal Investigator, the Lead Scientist will develop and execute research strategies, design and lead independent studies using cutting-edge molecular, cellular, immunological, and genomic approaches, and publish impactful discoveries with direct relevance to inflammatory bowel disease and other immune-mediated disorders.
