is currently seeking chemist candidates for a long term assignment in the Memphis, TN area. This position will work in a dynamic, fast paced laboratory to support the delivery of analytical data for the company's customers and products. Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Practical hands-on experience with various Gas Chromatograph & GC/MS methods. Demonstrated ability to conduct various wet chemistry and physical-analytical skills

• KF, ASTM, etc.

Ability to perform routine calibrations, maintenance or troubleshooting is preferred. Maintain a safe working environment by following established health and safety or chemical hygiene requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. 2+ years of industrial experience with various instrumental analysis and wet chemistry testing in a refinery laboratory or third-party petroleum testing lab. Strong adherence to safety. Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work assignments and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Strong communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Weekends and Overtime available
