Full Job Description DUTIES:
Independently formulate and conduct analytical tests in accordance with ANSI, ISO, International standards, ASTM procedures and/or other accepted methods. Design, develop, and validate complex chemical studies and experiments on organic and/or inorganic compounds for other chemists in the team. Train and work with chemists on assigned projects. Identify new materials and develop quality control tests for new products maintain working knowledge of all analytical equipment, procedures and techniques. In-depth analysis of data and accurately reporting results.
REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of material formulation experience Demonstrable expertise with New Product Formulation & Development Scientific report writing Mentorship Expertise collaborating inter-departmentally Understanding of industry patent research, invention disclosure writing, etc. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook Ability/willingness to travel up to 10% (Domestic). BS in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science or relevant Engineering discipline. MS a plus.
