Analytical Chemist (Entry Level/Recent Grads) Bwiz Solutions Frisco, TX Job Details Contract $20 - $24 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Biochemistry Bachelor's degree Chemistry Full Job Description Analytical Chemist We are seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to support laboratory testing, product analysis, and research activities in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This 1-year contract position offers the opportunity to work with advanced analytical instrumentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product quality, research, and development initiatives. Responsibilities Perform analytical testing using modern instrumentation and wet chemistry techniques. Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support quality and research objectives. Compile, interpret, and communicate laboratory data and technical findings. Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments. Perform testing using techniques such as GC/MS, HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, and ICP, as applicable. Maintain accurate laboratory records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Support laboratory safety, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and general housekeeping. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline preferred. 1-3 years of experience in an analytical, quality control, or research laboratory. Experience operating analytical instrumentation such as GC/MS, HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, or ICP. Experience with GC/MS for flavors and fragrance analysis is highly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory documentation practices.
