Bio-Synthesis, Inc. is seeking an peptide production chemist with PhD degree in organic/medicinal chemistry with several years of experience in industry to run a small to large scale peptide synthesis production team. You will be expected to perform under minimal supervision and be capable of having a steep learning curve in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications:

PhD degree in Chemistry, medicinal or related disciplines.

Key skills and Primary duties:

Perform synthesis, purification, and analysis of modified peptides. Cleavage & deprotection, purification of peptides. Packaging of synthetic peptides Maintenance of peptide synthesizers, HPLC and other scientific units in the laboratory. Ability to maintain, calibrate and operate various types of small lab equipment. Strong quantitative skills and excellent knowledge of Excel and data analysis. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential in our collaborative work environment. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description. Experience of working in small companies is a plus. Work authorization in the USA is required.
