Job Description
Research Analytical ChemistMilton, WI Sirius Staffing is hiring a Research Analytical Chemist for a long-term contract opportunity in Milton, Wisconsin. This is a fully onsite laboratory, performing daily analytical work and providing general laboratory and site support. Candidates must be able to independently read, understand, and execute established analytical methods, adjust priorities as needs arise, and work with limited day-to-day guidance.
Read, interpret, and independently execute analytical methods.
Support laboratory and site personnel with general analytical questions.
Shift priorities efficiently in response to analytical issues or urgent support needs.
Document and summarize analytical results in clear written reports for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Learn routine analytical testing on systems outside of current direct experience.
Work independently while seeking support when questions or issues arise.
Experience using OpenLab CDS version 2.8.Proficiency with at least two of the following analytical techniques or instrument systems:
Gas Chromatography (Agilent): Direct injection, headspace, or SPME with FID and/or mass spectrometry.
Liquid Chromatography (Agilent): UV-Vis, ELSD, and/or mass spectrometry.
FT-IR and/or
TGA and/or
Metrohm titrators with OMNIS software, including Dosimat and Karl Fischer analysis.
Ability to learn and perform routine analyses on equipment not previously used.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Pay Rate:
$30.00-$40.00 per hourResponsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.Experience using OpenLab CDS version 2.8.Proficiency with at least two of the following analytical techniques or instrument systems:
Gas Chromatography (Agilent): Direct injection, headspace, or SPME with FID and/or mass spectrometry.
Liquid Chromatography (Agilent): UV-Vis, ELSD, and/or mass spectrometry.

Thermo Fisher systems.TGA and/or
