Are you someone with a medical background who is looking for a future in clinical research? To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of comparable or related medical experience, have strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and be an excellent communicator and team player. Extensive knowledge of Medical Terminology is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook are required. You must be someone who is able to work in a team that values communication, embraces challenge, and continuous improvement. This position will be based in Hazel Green, AL, but training will take place at our offices in downtown Huntsville. Applicants need to have reliable transportation. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the following: Coordinate the day-to-day activities of assigned clinical research studies. Review and implement study protocols, informed consent documents, and other study-related materials. Screen, recruit, and enroll eligible study participants according to protocol requirements. Obtain and document informed consent in accordance with regulatory and institutional requirements. Schedule and coordinate participant visits, procedures, laboratory testing, imaging, and other study activities. Maintain accurate and complete source documentation and study records. Collect, enter, and verify clinical research data in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and other study databases. Track study milestones, participant enrollment, visit schedules, deviations, and follow-up activities. Communicate with principal investigators, sub-investigators, sponsors, CROs, laboratories, and other study partners. Prepare for and support monitoring visits, audits, inspections, and study closeout activities. Coordinate investigational product or study supply accountability when applicable.
