Role:
Liver Institute PLLC in Tucson, AZ is looking for a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our specialized team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful clinical research in a focused, patient-centered hepatology practice. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Higher Required Minimum of one year of experience as a clinical research coordinator or two years of healthcare experience with patient interaction or related experience Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with sponsors, research participants, physicians, and clinic staff. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Experience with patient recruitment, outreach, or sales/customer engagement is highly preferred. Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends to accommodate participant visits. Spanish-speaking (bilingual English/Spanish) preferred. Healthcare experience, including phlebotomy skills, is preferred; candidates willing to obtain phlebotomy training will also be considered. Educational background in biology, health sciences, nursing, public health, or another life science discipline preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a changing environment. Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a patient-centered approach while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Coordinated clinical research studies with multidisciplinary teams. Screened, educated, and enrolled study participants. Conducted informed consent with participants and caregivers. Monitored participant safety and reported adverse events. Documented study activities in compliance with regulatory requirements. Reviewed and resolved data queries daily. Maintained regulatory and study documentation. Collected medical history and concomitant medications. Requested and reviewed hospital medical records. Assisted investigators with clinical trial procedures. Processed, prepared, and shipped biological specimens. Prepared laboratory requisitions for protocol-required testing. Conducted protocol-specific participant interviews and assessments. Participated in quality assurance audits. Ensured compliance with GCP, protocol, and sponsor requirements. Performed additional duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. The job is onsite, and no relocation assistance is provided for this position.
