Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to support the coordination and administration of clinical trials. This position will work closely with clinical research staff, healthcare professionals, and study participants to help ensure trials are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established study protocols. Candidates must have a medical or clinical background and be comfortable working with medical terminology, patient information, and clinical documentation. Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of clinical research studies and trials
- Support the screening and enrollment of potential study participants
- Review medical records and study documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with collecting and entering clinical trial data
- Maintain organized and accurate study files and participant records
- Communicate with patients regarding study visits, scheduling, and follow-up
- Coordinate appointments and study-related procedures
- Assist research coordinators and clinical staff with study activities
- Track study timelines, documentation, and outstanding requirements
- Help prepare documentation for monitoring visits and audits
- Follow study protocols, HIPAA requirements, and applicable research procedures
- Communicate with physicians, research staff, sponsors, and other stakeholders as needed Requirements
- Medical or clinical background required
- Previous experience in a medical office, hospital, research facility, or other healthcare environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient documentation
- Clinical research or clinical trial experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with confidential medical and patient information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
