Job Description

The Prescreen Coordinator works as part of the clinical research team to assess potential new patients for optimal trial placement. This role will perform prescreening services at both Conquest Research location(s) and in partnership with community and physician relationships. The Prescreen Coordinator requires knowledge of current clinical research studies and prescreening processes. This role will serve as a brand ambassador for Conquest Research, including fostering relationships with potential research patients, relevant diverse community members, physicians and staff, and other community groups. Please note for this role you must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consent patients through a prescreening consent form prior to discussing medical history. Acquiring medical history and verifying concomitant medications via intake review and a structured patient interview. Interfacing with potential participants on-site to assess eligibility criteria, and determine subject and study partner availability. Document pertinent and accurate information in a timely manner in appropriate electronic format (CC, email, portal, etc.) per company guidelines. Review and understand criteria for enrolling clinical research studies. Educate potential participants and families/study partners on eligible trials and trial responsibilities. Work effectively and collaboratively with Investigators, clinical team, leadership team and recruitment to accomplish mutual goals and enrollment outcomes. Ensure all study screening appointments are scheduled as per clinical trial protocol parameters by engaging directly with the department leads, CRCS, and working closely with the clinical trial team. Adheres to the Company's quality and regulatory compliance requirements, without exception, and ensures that all job duties are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Support and assist in implementation of new policies and workflows to improve efficiencies and outcomes. Positive contribution to team and company goals. Comply with company policies, procedures and values. Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned to meet business needs.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail Critical thinker and problem solver Friendly, outgoing personality; maintain a positive attitude under pressure Bilingual (English and Spanish) Proficient in research terminology and medical (basic) terminology
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or relevant healthcare experience 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certified Experience working with patients with cognitive impairment and/or seniors a plus Spanish medical terminology a plus PAY This position provides a base salary along with a monthly incentive plan.
Base Salary:
Up to $47,500 per year, depending on experience.
