A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Adjunct Position Summary Prairie State College is seeking experienced part-time Adjuncts to teach a diverse student population in various levels of Clinical Medical Assisting education. The successful candidate will be able to accommodate an evening program schedule. Clinical Medical Assisting courses seeking Adjunct Instructors include Patient Care Techniques; Functional A&P; Healthcare Law & Ethics; Clinical Assist & Pharmacology; Administrative Procedures/EMR; Medical Lab Procedures; Billing and Insurance Processing; Diagnostic & Specialty Procedures; Professional Development; Externship. Courses begin in the Fall 2026 semester, from August 17 through December 10, yet applications will be kept in an applicant pool for future teaching opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Required CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN. At least three years experience in a healthcare outpatient setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
