A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Job Description
Women's Cancer Center is seeking a Breast Medical Oncologist to join a collaborative multidisciplinary breast oncology program in Western North Carolina. Opportunity Highlights Outpatient-only position with no call requirements. Newly renovated cancer center with infusion, breast imaging, image-guided biopsy and supportive services on site. Established program with a strong regional referral network and weekly Breast Tumor Board. Multidisciplinary collaboration with breast surgery, radiation oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, APPs, nurse navigation, social work, research and palliative care. Qualified Candidates BC/BE in Medical Oncology; breast oncology focus strongly preferred. New graduates and practicing physicians are encouraged to apply.
