Job Description

The Traveling/Mobil MD/doctor Sub-Investigator (SI) provides medical oversight & clinical support for participants enrolled in a clinical research study for patients aged 2-65. This role is responsible for patient safety, protocol compliance, investigational product oversight, and timely clinical documentation throughout all phases of the study. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving clinical research environment & demonstrates adaptability, accountability, responsiveness and strong clinical judgment while supporting medically complex pediatric participants and their families. This position requires frequent travel to participant homes, clinical sites and study-related locations to support decentralized and home-based clinical trial activities. Neurology or Epileptology experience is needed. MD/doctors will have active licenses in 3 or more of the following states: New Jersey, Michigan, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, California and/or Washington. If you have a multi state privilege license - that is ideal!
  • Review participant eligibility, medical history, seizure history, lab results, ECGs and concomitant medications to confirm study qualification and ongoing protocol compliance.
  • Conduct & oversee protocol-required assessments including physical examinations, neurological evaluations, safety assessments & study procedures.
  • Monitor participant safety throughout the study, including adverse events, lab abnormalities & other significant clinical findings.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to participant safety concerns, protocol deviations, medical escalations, and urgent study-related issues.
  • Make medical decisions regarding investigational product continuation, interruption, dose adjustment, or discontinuation in accordance with protocol and participant safety requirements.
  • Support medically complex pediatric participants in both clinical and home based research settings.
GTE 20hrs per week or more Road warrior position
Pay:
$150.00 - $200.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
