Job Description

ONSITE - NOT REMOTE
Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) supports the coordination and execution of clinical research studies while developing foundational skills in protocol implementation, participant coordination, and research operations. This role is designed as a developmental position within the research career pathway. CRC I staff work collaboratively with senior coordinators and research leadership while progressively building independence, clinical research knowledge, and problem-solving ability. The CRC I contributes to safe participant care and accurate study execution while developing toward independent study ownership.
Duties:
Study Coordination Support
  • Coordinate participant scheduling and protocol-required visits
  • Assist with study-related documentation and data collection
  • Maintain accurate source documentation under guidance
  • Support study start-up and ongoing study activities Participant Coordination
  • Communicate with participants regarding study visits and follow-up
  • Assist with participant screening processes
  • Support participant retention and visit compliance
  • Escalate clinical or protocol concerns appropriately Documentation & Data Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete and accurate study records
  • Assist with data entry and verification
  • Prepare documentation for monitoring visits and review
  • Follow protocol and regulatory requirements consistently Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with
CRC II/III
staff, regulatory personnel, and clinical teams
  • Participate in team problem-solving discussions
  • Ask questions and seek clarification when appropriate Professional Development
  • Develop understanding of research protocols and GCP principles
  • Build organizational skills and clinical research knowledge
  • Progress toward independent ownership of studies Growth & Development Pathway Growth within the CRC I role includes:
  • Increasing comfort with protocol requirements

  • Growing ability to anticipate study needs
  • Developing confidence in participant coordination Potential future pathways include:
  • Advancement to CRC II with demonstrated independent study management

Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
