A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the intersection of law and science and conducting sophisticated analyses of literature and studies and drafting and presenting written work product clearly and precisely as part of a collaborative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ongoing Monitoring and Review of Clinical and Laboratory Studies, and Scientific Literature relating to a myriad of Industries, Products and Therapies. Analysis of Statistical Data. Identification of Expert Witnesses and Related Diligence. Preparation of Experts for Testimony. Collaboration on Expert Reports. Interfacing with Consultants. Litigation Support on Product Liability, Health Effects and Other Litigation. Developing Historical Chronologies and Data. Organizing and Analyzing Client Documents and Information. Drafting Responses to Discovery or Other Requests for Information Pertaining to Applicable Science. Scientific Research. Drafting or Contributing to the Publication of Relevant Articles. Drafting Reports, Outlines, Chronologies, Analyses, Presentations, Position Papers, and Other Documents. Other Duties as Assigned. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or other Advanced Degree from a STEM doctoral program. Some experience in the legal industry preferred but not required. Annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience or other job-related factors permitted by law.
