Job Description

Clinical Research Laboratory Technician Clinical Research Site | Westchester County, NY We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our clinical research team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of laboratory or clinical research experience and be comfortable handling and processing biological specimens, including blood, urine, and stool. This position is ideal for someone who is hard-working, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical research environment . Responsibilities Process and prepare laboratory specimens for shipment to central laboratories. Handle blood, urine, stool, and other clinical research specimens according to study protocols. Ensure specimens are properly labeled, processed, documented, stored, and packaged for shipment. Maintain accurate specimen records and documentation. Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with various study-related tasks. Perform data entry and other administrative duties. Assist with collecting patient vital signs and supporting patient visits as needed. Perform other duties related to clinical research site operations. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of laboratory or clinical research experience required. Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician, Research Assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator, or similar role preferred. Experience handling clinical specimens such as blood, urine, and stool required. IATA training/certification required. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to carefully follow protocols and procedures. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as with a team. Clinical research experience and an understanding of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) role is a plus. Location Local candidates or candidates living near Westchester County are strongly preferred.
