2989950726-2 Apply for this job now Job Description The University of Cincinnati seeks a Clinical Research Professional to support studies in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology. This role coordinates study start-up, participant recruitment, consent, and visit scheduling; collects and manages clinical data and specimens; and ensures compliance with IRB, FDA, and GCP standards. The position works closely with faculty, clinicians, and students in a collaborative, research-intensive environment, contributing to innovative, patient-centered investigations while supporting UC's academic and community mission. Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct clinical research studies in rheumatology, allergy, and immunology following study protocols and regulatory requirements Manage participant recruitment, screening, informed consent, and scheduling of study visits Collect, process, and accurately document clinical data and specimens in electronic systems Ensure compliance with IRB, FDA, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and institutional policies Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, coordinators, and sponsors to support study start-up and ongoing operations Prepare and maintain study documentation, case report forms, and regulatory submissions Monitor data quality, track study milestones, and support reporting for audits and monitoring visits Assist in training students or junior staff on research procedures and study workflows Required Skills Clinical research coordination Good Clinical Practice (GCP) IRB and regulatory compliance Informed consent processes Data collection and EDC systems Clinical trial documentation Specimen handling and processing Medical terminology (rheumatology/allergy/immunology) Adverse event reporting Microsoft Office and research databases
