About Us Robert Medical Research LLC is a multi-specialty clinical research site located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, dedicated to advancing medical research through Phase II-III clinical trials. We collaborate with pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors and CROs across multiple therapeutic areas. Our experienced clinical research team manages day-to-day study operations, including patient recruitment, study coordination, regulatory documentation, scheduling, and sponsor/CRO communication, allowing our Principal Investigators to focus primarily on medical oversight, participant safety, and protocol-related responsibilities. Position Summary Robert Medical Research is seeking a Florida-licensed Dermatologist (MD/DO) interested in serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) for current and future clinical research opportunities. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity designed to complement an existing medical practice. The position is structured to require minimal disruption to the physician's current practice. On-site presence is generally limited to study-specific activities requiring physician oversight and will be coordinated in advance. The Principal Investigator will provide appropriate medical oversight and ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulatory requirements, and sponsor guidelines. Key Responsibilities Provide medical oversight for assigned clinical trials Ensure the safety, rights, and welfare of study participants Oversee protocol-related medical procedures and assessments Appropriately delegate study-related responsibilities to qualified research staff Review and sign study documentation as required Collaborate with the clinical research team, sponsors, CROs, and regulatory personnel Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements Qualifications MD or DO specializing in Dermatology Active and unrestricted Florida medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology preferred Strong communication, organizational, and professional skills Ability to provide appropriate physician oversight for clinical research activities Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a Dermatologist interested in expanding into clinical research while continuing to maintain their existing medical practice. This opportunity is particularly well suited for a physician seeking to diversify their professional activities, participate in innovative clinical trials, and develop an additional revenue stream without the commitment of a traditional full-time research position. Prior Principal Investigator or clinical research experience is preferred but not required . Our experienced research team provides comprehensive operational and regulatory support. Schedule Part-time / Flexible Designed to complement an existing medical practice Limited on-site presence based on individual study requirements Study-related activities coordinated in advance Compensation Highly competitive, study-based compensation, including a percentage of revenue generated from assigned clinical trials . This structure provides significant earning potential as the research program grows while allowing the physician to maintain their existing medical practice. Compensation varies based on active studies, study scope, physician responsibilities, and patient enrollment and is not a guaranteed fixed monthly salary.
