Community Health Research Partners, LLC is an innovative and fast-growing clinical research site conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. We are expanding our operations and seeking a dedicated, practicing physician licensed in Virginia to serve as our Clinical Research Principal Investigator (PI) .
Position Overview:
The Principal Investigator will provide medical oversight and leadership for clinical studies conducted at our site. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated physician interested in expanding into clinical research or growing their research portfolio. The selected PI will benefit from a profit-sharing structure and a share of study budgets for trials they initiate or bring to the site.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Principal Investigator on assigned clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocol, GCP, FDA, and ICH guidelines. Oversee subject safety, informed consent, and the conduct of study visits. Review and sign off on study documentation, including source data, CRFs, and AE/SAE reports. Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and internal study staff to ensure high-quality execution. Participate in feasibility assessments and site qualification visits. Utilize professional relationships to engage with sponsors and CROs to bring new studies to the site.
Qualifications:
MD or DO, actively practicing and licensed to practice in Virginia (required). Prior experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials (preferred). Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations (GCP, ICH, FDA). Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills. Established relationships with sponsors or CROs (strongly preferred). Sub-specialties such as Cardiology, Neurology, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
