Our team works closely with physicians, patients, and sponsors to conduct high-quality clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory standards. Job Summary The Neurology Research Assistant will support clinical research operations across multiple neurology studies, including Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuropathy, headache, and other neurological conditions. This role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to neurological science and patient care. Responsibilities Assist with study startup, regulatory documentation, and IRB submissions. Support patient recruitment, screening, scheduling, and follow-up visits. Collect, process, and accurately document study data in EDC systems. Prepare study materials, maintain research binders, regulatory files and ensure protocol compliance. Coordinate with physicians, sponsors, CROs, and clinical research staff. Assist with vital signs, ECGs, cognitive assessments, and other study procedures (training provided). Maintain accurate logs, inventory, and study supplies. Ensure adherence to HIPAA, GCP, and FDA regulations. Perform additional administrative or clinical tasks as needed to support trial operations. Qualifications Medical Assistant OR relevant clinical research experience. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in clinical research, neurology, or medical office work is a plus. Proficiency with computers, EDC platforms, and Microsoft Office. Compassionate, patient-focused approach and professionalism. Preferred Skills Experience with cognitive assessments (MMSE, MoCA, etc.). Familiarity with FDA, ICH-GCP, and clinical trial workflows. Phlebotomy certification or willingness to train. Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a plus.
