A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Job Description

Radiation Oncology Virginia Beach, VA Position Highlights :
Join a highly collaborative academic Radiation Oncology department providing comprehensive cancer care across three clinical sites, with your primary practice based at Norfolk General Hospital. Predominantly clinical faculty role ( 95% clinical) with opportunities to teach medical students, participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and contribute to departmental initiatives. General Radiation Oncology practice treating the full spectrum of malignancies, with the flexibility to develop clinical interests in areas such as brachytherapy, SRS, SBRT, theranostics, radiopharmaceuticals, neuro-oncology, or head & neck cancer. Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team including Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Medical Physics, and advanced practice providers.
Compensation & Benefits :
Competitive compensation with total earning potential exceeding $500,000 through an RVU-based productivity incentive. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Annual CME allowance plus 10 CME days. Qualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology. Eligible for Virginia medical licensure. Open to graduating residents, fellows, and experienced Radiation Oncologists. Interest or experience in brachytherapy is preferred but not required. Passion for delivering outstanding patient care within a collaborative academic environment.
