Job Description

1.
Education:
College degree preferred, preferably in business, health or public administration, management or a related field. 2.
Training and Classroom:
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Specifically Word and Excel); data mining software; and, electronic health records. 3.
Job Knowledge:
2-5 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred. Highly organized and well-developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Experience and or knowledge of healthcare strategies such as episodes of care, patient centered medical home, accountable care organizations. 4.
Skills and Abilities:
Data analysis skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including motivational interviewing techniques, to effectively interact and motivate change in behavior Strong reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a high volume environment with minimal supervision. Work independently as well as in a team environment. Take initiative in finding solutions to difficult and/or sensitive problems. Strong strategic reasoning skills. 5.

DESCRIPTION
The role of the Clinical Research Supervisor is to oversee all services associated with clinical research. This includes supervising daily operations; recruitment, staffing and management of staff assigned to the research program; strategic positioning of the program; and, managing the financial performance of the program. The Clinical Research Supervisor is responsible for the securement, oversite, and coordination of research studies. The Clinical Research Supervisor role also includes development of a clinical research program business plan and setting of annual strategic initiatives for the program.
