36 months Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Laboratory Analyst to perform and support environmental, compliance, and operational analytical testing requirements for a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, experience with analytical laboratory techniques, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental, compliance, and operational analytical testing in accordance with established laboratory procedures. Work safely at all times and identify, report, and implement corrective actions for unsafe working conditions. Conduct laboratory analyses using approved analytical methods and instrumentation. Apply quality control requirements and ensure compliance with analytical testing standards. Utilize and interpret EPA, ASTM, Standard Methods, and other applicable reference standards. Follow technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform laboratory analyses accurately and consistently. Develop and revise technical SOPs to align with reference standards and analytical methodologies. Evaluate analytical data and verify results for accuracy and completeness. Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and resolve technical issues as they arise. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers. Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting established deadlines. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering , or a related scientific discipline. Minimum of 15 semester hours of chemistry coursework . Knowledge of EPA, ASTM, Standard Methods , and other relevant analytical reference standards. Ability to understand and execute technical laboratory procedures and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications Experience utilizing analytical reference methods and laboratory instrumentation. Experience with quality control requirements for analytical methods. Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) instrumentation . Previous experience working in an environmental or analytical laboratory setting.
