Housekeeping Reports to: Housekeeping Manager Position Summary The Guest Environment Specialist ensures that all guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet Huntington and Marriott brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and environmental responsibility. This position is crucial in upholding our reputation for quality service and sustainability across our properties. Key Responsibilities Room & Public Area Care Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to exceed guest expectations. Replenish amenities and supplies, prioritizing the use of eco-friendly products whenever possible. Guest Service Excellence Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and embody Huntingtons hospitality values in every interaction. Environmental & Safety Compliance Actively participate in Huntingtons green initiatives, including energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling programs. Adhere to OSHA regulations and all brand safety protocols, including emergency procedures and safe use of cleaning products. Operational Support Stock housekeeping carts and maintain inventory control to ensure efficient operations. Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to engineering or management for timely resolution. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is desirable. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Hearing Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the phone and in person. Standing/Walking/Mobility Must be able to stand to operate office machinery. Must be able to move between departments. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling Must be able to climb four flights of stairs. Must be able to stoop and kneel for short periods of time. Lifting Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling Must be able to write (sign keys in/out, fill out work orders, etc.).
