Full Job Description Location:
Irvine, CA | Hybrid Field & Office Role Make an Impact on Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Are you passionate about protecting the environment and helping organizations stay compliant with environmental regulations? We are seeking an Environmental Scientist to join a growing team supporting environmental compliance programs across a variety of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career environmental professional who enjoys a mix of office and field work, values professional growth, and wants exposure to a wide range of environmental regulations and compliance programs. You'll work alongside experienced environmental professionals, interact with clients, and gain hands-on experience conducting compliance audits, inspections, sampling, and technical reporting.
Work Schedule:
Approximately 50% office and 50% field work, including travel to client facilities throughout California and other locations as needed. What You'll Do Conduct environmental compliance audits, inspections, and site assessments. Support hazardous waste, regulated waste, RCRA, stormwater, air quality, and related environmental compliance programs. Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data. Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation, and compliance deliverables. Research environmental regulations and apply findings to client projects. Assist clients in understanding and complying with federal, state, and local environmental requirements. Communicate with regulatory agencies and client representatives. Participate in field sampling and data collection activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality environmental solutions. Manage multiple assignments while meeting project schedules and deadlines. Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 3+ years of environmental compliance experience. Knowledge of RCRA, hazardous waste management, regulated waste, and environmental compliance regulations. Experience with stormwater, air quality, storage tanks, or other multimedia environmental programs. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and SharePoint. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Willingness to travel and perform field work as needed. Environmental auditing experience is a plus. Why Apply?
