As a member of the Pasadena laboratory, the Environmental Scientist will play a key role in advancing environmental health and safety by conducting environmental testing to help protect Californians from hazardous substances. ISO/IEC 17025
Laboratory Quality Management System Review quality system procedures (QSPs), technical system procedures (TSPs) and form with instructions (FRMs) for effectiveness and efficiency and make recommendations for improvement Participate in process and program improvements, proficiency testing, internal audits, external assessments, and management review meetings Attend or provide training on
ECL ISO/IEC 17025
Quality Management System Assist with tracking, organizing and archiving all records including, but not limited to, test method validation records, analytical testing reports, training records, complaints, equipment and instrument calibration and verification records, and logbooks Assist with the development of a laboratory information management system (LIMS) to document lab practices and procedures, track performance data and manage records
Desirable Qualifications We Look For:
Experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory Chemistry or any related science courses taken are preferred Experience working in a laboratory using the Quality Management System (QMS) Experience with providing customer/client services You will find additional information about the job in the .
