Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the general supervision of the Supervisor I, in the Safety and Facilities Operations unit, the Analyst II is responsible for various administrative duties. The areas of responsibility include Facilities budget (084), service contract management, and lease management, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and managing the day to day operations of the district office facility. The incumbent is the liaison to the Property Manager/Lessor and the building engineers. May require to work occasional extended hours or weekend hours in order to manage the facility operations. Working Conditions Position located at 1750 E 4th St Santa Ana CA, Orange County. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. The base of operation will be in the District Office. The incumbent will be expected to work outdoors. While in a multi-story office setting, incumbent will be working in a climate-controlled environment with artificial lighting. A cubicle work area will be assigned in an open floor configuration; cubicle walls may have 4 or 6-foot panels; since the area is an open floor configuration, the work environment will be noisy. This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's current telework policy. While Caltrans supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate may be required to conduct business travel on behalf of the Department or commute to the headquartered location. Business travel reimbursements considers an employee's designated Headquarters Location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
