Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide field and office support of site investigations involving oversight of environmental drilling, well installation and soil sampling. Support environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remediation design. Assist with technical report preparation documents including data input and interpretation. Have an understanding of the CT Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs), UST Regulations, Significant Environmental Hazard Program, CT Transfer Act, and other similar programs/requirements. Ability to work in a team environment. Handle other related duties assigned; and Adherence to Sovereign Consulting Inc. health and safety procedures in all field related activities.Requirements:
3-5 years of related experience is required A bachelor's degree in environmental science or geology OSHA 40-HourHAZWOPER
certification OSHA 30-hr Construction or General Industry certification, a plus Demonstrated technical writing skills Proficiency with Microsoft office, Adobe, and CAD a plus Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills. Must have a good driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate's ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. A background check will also be required. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
