Building & Remodeling is looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated Handyman to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. No two days are necessarily the same. Our Handyman team works on repairs, maintenance, improvements, remodeling projects, installations, and a wide range of residential construction needs. We are looking for someone who can work independently, represent LG professionally in customers' homes, solve problems, and deliver quality work efficiently.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a Handyman who brings versatility, craftsmanship, reliability, and professionalism to every job. Versatility & Skills You should be comfortable performing a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and improvement work, including: Carpentry and general repairs. Drywall repair and finishing. Painting and touch-ups. Flooring repairs and installation. Door and window repairs and installation. Trim, molding, and finish work. Shelving and hardware installation. Fixture and appliance installation. Basic plumbing troubleshooting and repairs. Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Rot repair and general property repairs. Maintenance and improvement projects. Using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely. You don't necessarily need to be an expert at everything—but you should be comfortable learning, troubleshooting, and figuring things out. Problem-Solving Our customers call us because something needs to be fixed, repaired, replaced, improved, or completed.

We need someone who can:

Communicate issues and recommendations clearly. Take initiative instead of waiting to be told every step. Independence A great Handyman can take a work order, understand what needs to happen, gather the appropriate tools and materials, complete the work, and leave the job properly finished. We're looking for someone who can work independently while still being an excellent team player. Customer Service You will often work directly in our customers' homes. That means we're looking for someone who: Is respectful and professional. Communicates clearly with homeowners. Treats customers' homes as if they were their own. Protects floors, walls, furniture, and personal property. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Leaves the work area cleaner than they found it whenever possible. Understands that customer service is part of the job—not an extra.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As an LG Handyman, your work may include: General residential repairs and maintenance. Carpentry repairs and improvements. Drywall repair. Painting and finishing. Flooring repairs and installation. Door and window repairs. Installing doors, hardware, shelving, fixtures, and other items. Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting. Basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting. Rot repair and property repairs. Diagnosing maintenance issues. Recommending practical solutions to customers and Project Managers. Completing assigned work efficiently and professionally. Maintaining clean and safe job sites. Protecting customer property. Properly using and maintaining tools and equipment. Communicating job progress, problems, and additional needs. Completing punch-list and service work. Helping with larger remodeling projects when needed.

WHAT YOU

BRINGRequired Experience in general handyman, maintenance, carpentry, or residential construction work. Working knowledge of carpentry and general repairs. Knowledge of drywall repair, painting, and finishing. Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools. Ability to read work orders and follow instructions. Ability to complete projects independently. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance. Commitment to safety and quality. Professional communication skills. Preferred Residential remodeling experience. Experience working directly with homeowners. Experience with multiple construction trades. Ability to diagnose problems independently. Experience with finish carpentry. Experience with flooring, doors, windows, or cabinetry. Previous service or maintenance experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires the ability to: Lift up to approximately 50 pounds. Stand, kneel, bend, crawl, and climb ladders. Work in a variety of residential and job-site conditions. Safely operate hand and power tools. Perform physical construction and repair activities throughout the workday. Work in varying weather conditions when required.
