Standard Summary:
An intermediate level Environmental Engineer / Environmental Specialist is needed to assist with the preparation of regulatory applications, bids for new generation assets, and other planning and compliance activities. Day-to-Day Activities Collecting and assembling information to prepare applications to the U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantee and grant programs.
Assisting in the preparation of bid packages for new generation resources, including:
Natural gas
Renewable energy
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Experience and Skills Required Working knowledge of regulatory programs, environmental permitting and licensing.
Working knowledge of environmental regulations including:
Clean Water Act (NPDES and Section 404)
Cultural resources
National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA)
Demonstrated ability to organize complex tasks, schedules, and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a variety of internal teams and external consulting resources to achieve common goals.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with a variety of online programs and databases.
