Description Central Laboratory- Management Information Services Location:
2434 Interstate Plaza Dr. Hammond, Indiana 46324
Shift:
Monday - Friday; Weekend and/or
Holiday Rotation FTE:

WHAT WILL YOU DO.
This individual maintains and supports the daily operation of the LIS and serves as backup for maintenance and support of all outreach software. This individual is responsible for implementation, validation, support & maintenance activities of the Laboratory Information System (LIS); maintenance and validation of the Hospital Information System (HIS) for the Sisters of St. Francis (SSFHS) hospitals and associated outpatient and other service centers; support, maintenance, and validation activities for partner and patron sites; development and maintenance of procedures and documentation required for regulatory agencies; and serves as backup for implementation, validation, support & maintenance activities of outreach software systems at the Core Lab. Travel to remote facilities is required. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic healthcare systems while performing all job functions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in medical / clinical sciences or information systems required. Two (2) years relevant clinical laboratory or information services experience required.
