Brown County Health Department The Brown County Health Department is seeking an individual to fill the position of an Assistant Environmental Health Specialist.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or HSE. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possession of and/or ability to obtain and maintain NIMS (100, 200, 700, and 800), Certified Pool Operator, ServSafe Food Manager Instructor/Proctor, Presby system installer, and Private Well Water Manager certifications and licenses within one (1) year of hire.

Duties:

Assists with inspections and investigations, including conducting, documenting, and photographing as required by state and local code involving unsanitary conditions, septic inspections, air, water, solid and liquid waste, vector control, water wells, lead, public and semi-public pools and spas, food establishments, tattoo and piercing parlors, unfit housing, and other environmental health issues.
