This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland. Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior Lead Environmental Specialist located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position provides senior project management and technical oversight for environmental science, engineering, construction, remediation or environmental education and outreach, and planning activities and services. Provides professional work at the fully proficient level of technical competence.

Estimated Pay Range:

$77,226.24 - $106,186.08

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology or a related field from an accredited college or university plus six years of experience in environmental science, regulations, engineering or management, three years of which must have included responsibility managing environmental projects. Assignment to some locations may require three years of supervising environmental professional and technical staff.

Note:

Applicants may substitute an applicable advanced education degree for up to two years of required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. This position will be open until filled. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
