Job Description
Responsibilities:
Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion samplingMonitoring well, soil boring and log preparationPreparation of analytical data tablesReport preparationProposal preparationAbility to work individually and in a team environmentRequirements:
0-5 years of experience with a geology or environmental science backgroundExperience with NJDEP regulations, guidance documents, and field stamping proceduresOSHA 40-hourHAZWOPER
Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plusDemonstrated technical writing skillsClean Driving RecordOccasional Overnight TravelMust have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skillsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related fieldEmployment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidates ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. A background check will also be required. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
