$100,000 - $130,000 per year Job Details - Key Responsibilities Conduct environmental inspections across active construction areas and restoration zones. Ensure compliance with permits, EM&CP requirements, SWPPP/SPDES, and approved project plans. Monitor wetlands, waterbodies, erosion and sediment controls, dewatering, and other sensitive activities. Identify compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with construction teams. Support Article VII compliance, environmental reporting, regulatory inspections, and documentation. Coordinate restoration, BMP implementation, spill response, and environmental requirements with field teams. Qualifications 5+ years of environmental compliance experience within utility, transmission, pipeline, or infrastructure construction. Strong knowledge of SWPPP, stormwater, erosion and sediment control, wetlands, and environmental BMPs. Experience interpreting environmental permits, plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Strong field coordination, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working primarily in an active construction environment and traveling throughout the project area. Preferred Experience Electric transmission construction experience in New York. Knowledge of New York Public Service Law Article VII and EM&CP requirements. Familiarity with NYS DPS and NYSDEC requirements. Experience with SPDES, SWPPP, erosion control, wetlands, dewatering, and restoration.
