•40.00/hour, based on experience What We Are Looking For The Environmental Systems & Waste Profile Specialist will support the implementation and management of the company's environmental services profiling system for oil recovery, transportation, disposal, and related environmental services. This position will leverage environmental compliance expertise to establish efficient waste profiling processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical training to employees. The specialist will work closely with management, operations, sales, and customer service teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive profile management system that supports customer needs and business growth. What You Will Do Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's waste profile management system. Develop waste profile documentation and approval workflows for oil recovery, transportation, disposal, and related environmental services. Ensure all profiles comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Review customer waste streams and determine appropriate profiling, handling, transportation, and disposal requirements. Create standardized procedures, forms, and documentation for profile management. Maintain profile databases and ensure accuracy and completeness of customer records. Collaborate with operations, sales, and environmental staff to improve efficiency and compliance. Provide technical guidance regarding hazardous and non-hazardous waste classification, transportation, and disposal options. Conduct employee training on profiling procedures, regulatory requirements, and system utilization. Assist with customer onboarding related to environmental profiling requirements. Support internal audits and compliance reviews associated with waste management activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices. Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to operational facilities and customer locations. What You Will Need Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental services, waste profiling, hazardous waste management, or related environmental compliance activities. Experience with hazardous material transportation requirements and waste characterization. Experience developing and implementing environmental management systems preferred. Experience training employees and developing standard operating procedures. Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods. Ability to occasionally travel for meetings, training, or site visits. Strong knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste regulations. Understanding of waste profiling, characterization, transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal processes. Ability to interpret environmental regulations and apply them to operational activities. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with database systems, Microsoft Office, and environmental management software. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
