Job Description
Job Summary The Cleaning Specialist is responsible for ensuring the food safety program is followed and ensures that the spaces to which they are assigned remain tidy and orderly. Responsibilities Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types. Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, machines, racks and loose furniture. Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures. Emptying trash cans. Washing and drying windows. Liaising with the cleaning supervisor to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times. Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process. Informing the cleaning supervisor of repairs that need to be done. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Proven experience in a similar role. Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment. Excellent organizational skills. Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Standing for prolonged periods. Moving about to accomplish tasks. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. Working in areas subject to low/high temperatures, noise, poor ventilation, and/or hazardous conditions. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 75 pounds.
