Job Description
Responsibilities:
Fieldwork in wetlands. Desktop review of publicly available data for wetland determinations. Perform soil profile evaluations. Prepare technical reports. Perform multi-media environmental sampling. Assist with permit application preparation. Attend meetings with clients. Communications with staff, clients, and regulators. Establish/maintain professional relationships with coworkers and clients. Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Soil testing for stormwater management and on-lot septic and disposal systems. Requirements B.S. in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or Soil Science. Up to two years' experience in field work/report writing. Wetland identification and soils evaluation skills preferred. OSHA 40-hourHAZWOPER
certification preferred. Herpetological survey skills, a plus. Knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD, a plus. Ability to lift (up to) 50 pounds. Ability to work extended hours (as necessary) and in various weather conditions. Current, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain PA clearances/background checks.
