Job Description
CLEER Environmental Educator & Docent (Part-Time)
Position Summary:
Seeking dedicated part-time staff to join the Center for Lake Erie Education and Research team for the summer season. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations including- Welcoming visitors to the open and accessible center space
- Assisting visitors with the proper use of interactive exhibit technology within the center
- Cleaning touch screens and other exhibit items when not otherwise engaged or as appropriate
- Communicating, listening, and sharing thoughts and ideas with visitors based upon interactive exhibits.
- Working with other team members to provide educational opportunities and summer camps to registered community members, including youth.
