Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and communication materials using technical writing skills for clients and regulatory agencies. Manage permitting phases by preparing applications, coordinating with regulatory bodies such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and local agencies. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools like ArcGIS for mapping project sites and analyzing spatial data related to environmental conditions. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations by implementing best practices in asbestos handling, waste management, water treatment, and wastewater treatment processes. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project progress, provide updates, and address compliance issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of data collection, analysis results, laboratory testing procedures, and project documentation for auditing purposes. Skills Strong technical writing abilities for preparing comprehensive reports and documentation. Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping. Experience practicing in an environmental science or consulting role with outdoor work experience. Knowledge of environmental law, environmental regulatory compliance, and permitting processes. Familiarity with OSHA standards related to hazardous materials handling and worker safety protocols. Ability to perform environmental field sampling, data collection, analysis skills, and laboratory experience. Project management skills including organizing tasks efficiently and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Mechanical knowledge relevant to water treatment systems, wastewater treatment processes, or related mechanical systems.
