Your impact Jacobs is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of exciting and innovative projects across Italy and internationally. As a Junior Environmental Consultant, you will support a wide range of projects and activities, taking on responsibilities that include: Supporting the development of environmental projects, in all the phases of projects life cycle Supporting fieldwork activities, including site characterization, remediation, and environmental site assessments Collecting, analyzing, managing and reporting environmental data Supporting project team in the design of remediation systems Ensuring compliance with Company Quality, Environmental, H&S procedures Being involved in developing company values, such as technical excellence and innovation, sustainability, health and safety, inclusion and diversity Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, and projects stakeholders Here's what you'll need Previous experience supporting environmental projects is preferred, ideally gained during the first few years of a professional career (approximately 1-3 years) Solid technical background relative to environmental topics (contaminated site characterization, human health risk assessment, and remediation techniques) Availability and interest to support fieldwork, mainly consisting of (but not limited to) drilling supervision and sampling (groundwater / soil / soil gas sampling) and/or remediation plant O&M activities Basic knowledge of national environmental (D.Lgs. 152/06) and H&S (D.Lgs. 81/08) legislation Fluency in Italian and English Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, GIS and CAD software Good communication and teamwork skills Mindset open to innovation, digitalization, visual communication #LI-KK2 We offer a flexible hybrid working model, a collaborative and inclusive culture, and opportunities to grow your career while contributing to technically innovative projects in an international environment.
