Job Description

Arcosa, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Intern in our Dallas headquarters to support our Corporate Environmental team across multiple business units. As a summer Environmental Intern, you will gain experience in environmental compliance within a multi-industry organization over a 5-10 week period. The intern will also gain exposure to water, waste, and air regulatory programs and assist with compliance activities across various sites. Arcosa, Inc. (

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile & organize environmental data and records for applicable regulatory reports Assist in preparing compliance documentation Support tracking and maintenance of environmental permits and compliance calendars Assist with implementation of environmental initiatives and best practices Review environmental compliance documents and procedures Assist in developing and implementing BMPs to programs Conduct site visits to support environmental compliance Assist with internal environmental audits Gain exposure to environmental regulations related to: Water, Waste, & Air through project support and research Additional duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Seeking Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently, take initiative, be creative and innovative Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
