What You'll Do As an Environmental Technician, you'll play an important role supporting environmental projects from initial fieldwork through final reporting.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting environmental site assessments and hazardous building material surveys Inspecting structures for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other environmental concerns Collecting environmental samples and documenting site conditions Assisting with environmental investigations and remediation projects Preparing technical reports, field notes, and regulatory documentation Supporting project managers with project coordination and field activities Interpreting environmental regulations and applying industry best practices Following strict health and safety protocols on active job sites Traveling to project locations throughout Alaska as needed Assisting with client communications and business development initiatives when appropriate What Makes This Opportunity Different At Satori Group, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of environmental consulting services rather than being limited to a single specialty.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field Equivalent experience (4+ years in environmental consulting, construction, remediation, or related industries) may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to travel throughout Alaska as projects require Preferred Qualifications AHERA Building Inspector Certification EPA Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor Certification Experience conducting field investigations or environmental sampling Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements Experience working in construction, remediation, or consulting environments Interest in client development and relationship management
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$55,000-$65,000 annually, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard 8-hour shifts
