Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Test Technician I are assisting specialists in conducting analysis and sample preparation. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct tests such as vibration/shock, temperature, humidity, altitude, salt fog exposures, and other tests with the ESS (Environmental Simulation Services) segment Gather data required for performing routine tests and interpret data on routine pass/fail tests Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of the lab equipment Use tools and technology to track work Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School or GED; Associate's degree a plus 0-2 years' experience in a material testing laboratory environment Basic technical acumen with the ability to follow lab processes, test specifications, and perform routine tests Able to operate various types of lab equipment and tools with supervision Problem-solving skills with the ability to follow direction and complete tasks in a timely manner Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to operate across other internal departments or functions Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintain Lab ISO and process Safety procedures.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
