In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and documenting mold presence in various indoor environments, ensuring adherence to environmental laws and safety standards. Your expertise will support our mission to promote healthy, safe spaces through meticulous inspection, data collection, and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental health initiatives while working in diverse outdoor and indoor settings. Duties Conduct thorough mold inspections in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings using specialized tools and techniques. Collect environmental samples for laboratory analysis to determine mold types and concentrations. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools like ArcGIS for mapping inspection sites and documenting findings accurately. Prepare detailed technical reports outlining inspection results, recommended remediation steps, and compliance status. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Assist in the permitting phase by preparing necessary documentation for environmental compliance and regulatory submissions. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines during all field activities. Support environmental consulting projects related to water treatment, wastewater management, or oil & gas operations as needed. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in an environmental science or related role with a focus on mold inspection or indoor air quality assessment. Strong technical writing skills for preparing comprehensive reports and documentation. Familiarity with environmental law, EPA regulations, and environmental regulatory compliance procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and report creation. Experience with environmental field sampling techniques and laboratory procedures related to mold detection. Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to water treatment, wastewater treatment, or oil & gas environments is a plus. Ability to operate AutoCAD or similar design software for site planning or remediation layouts is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for data collection, research, and analysis tasks.
