Job Description

SEA, Ltd. is hiring for our Candle Testing Lab! This is a temporary to permanent role with full-time hours (4 days per week, 10 hours per day). The ideal candidates for these roles will enjoy working on their feet and will understand that this is a high fragrance environment. Pay is $19/hr. Please note that the hours for this opportunity are as follows:
Sunday-Wednesday:
3:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
Sunday- Wednesday:
4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Essential Job FunctionsResponsibilities:
Un-boxes, weighs and logs of product test samples as they arrive Performs sample setup in testing lab Tests, observes and documents test samples in accordance with required protocols Performs general housekeeping in the lab (cleaning wax off testing shelves and floor, cleaning HVAC filters, replacement of burn surfaces) Analyzes soot collection targets Conducts flash-point testing Photographs test samples Catalogs, stores and disposes of test samples
Position Requirements:
Strong organizational, observation, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills Basic knowledge of Excel and Access High school diploma
  • This will be an in-laboratory opportunity (not remote)
  • MUST be able to handle strong and continuous fragrances
Physical Requirements:
