Job Description
HAZWOPER
certification is provided if not already obtained. OSHA 10 certification preferred. Experience or interest in environmental science, environmental remediation, or construction-related work. Willingness to build a long-term career and advance to higher-level technician roles, such as Tech 2 within 6 to 12 months. Positive, "want to work" attitude with a focus on growth and development. Work Environment You work in a mixed environment, spending time both inside a warehouse and outside in the environmental field. The role involves handling drums, operating in and around trucks and hoppers, and supporting remediation activities in a facility that manages hazardous and non-hazardous waste.. Consistent schedule. The setting is hands-on and physically active, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and teamwork in a professional industrial and environmental operations environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
