Environmental Technician

Job Title:

Environmental Technician Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement to Test Engineer I role ($26.00/Hour) within first 6-to-12 months. Candidates must be comfortable with travel and working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at a variety of client sites. Record and analyze data, collect samples. Transport and set up testing equipment using a company vehicle; dismantle equipment post-testing. Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in conducting air quality testing procedures. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols. Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming assignments. Gain proficiency in EPA Testing Methods 1-5 using company resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field preferred. Previous experience in a field-based role. Team player with strong initiative Mechanical attitude. Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Project Manager. Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging + $72 per diem are paid by company. Expected travel is 60-70% over the course of the year. Typical projects require 2-to-4 nights out of town. Overtime paid at 1.5x rate. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50
