ERC is a Small Environmental firm has an immediate opening for an Experienced, dependable and motivated Environmental Field Technician in Asbestos Air Monitoring (AMT) and Project Manager (PM), in the Houston area, to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, is safety-conscious, and is interested in environmental consulting and hazardous materials work. The position requires travel to Austin and throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Position Responsibilities Perform asbestos inspections, surveys, and field investigations, air monitoring, field drawings and taking photos. Collect and properly document asbestos and other environmental samples. Assist with asbestos abatement monitoring and project oversight. Conduct air monitoring and maintain accurate field documentation. Prepare daily field reports, sampling records, and project documentation. Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and project-specific requirements. Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and project managers. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies. Travel to various job sites as required. Qualifications Previous experience in asbestos, environmental, industrial hygiene related field work preferred. Current asbestos certifications/licenses preferred, depending on applicable state requirements. Knowledge of asbestos regulations and safe work practices is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers. Must be comfortable working in construction environments and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
