Mold Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mold Analyst to join our environmental testing and research team. In this pivotal role, you will analyze mold samples, interpret data, and contribute to environmental health and safety initiatives. Duties Handle mold samples from various environments using standardized procedures and ensure proper handling for laboratory analysis Utilize laboratory equipment and techniques to identify mold species, concentrations, and potential health risks Perform research on environmental laws including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and local water treatment standards to ensure compliance Qualifications Proven experience with laboratory procedures related to mold identification Excellent technical writing abilities for preparing detailed reports and documentation Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, environmental science or other related science discipline is required. Understanding of OSHA safety standards and EHS policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
